GeoCheckTool

Google AI Overview diagnosis

Check whether Google AI Overview surfaces your business—and preserve what it shows.

GeoCheckTool starts with confirmed business facts and real buyer questions. Its current Quick workflow can observe the Google AI Overview search-result surface through SerpApi, preserve answer and source evidence when a surface appears, and keep a legitimate no-surface result explicit.

One free Quick Diagnosis per account

Run the official Quick Diagnosis

Quick selects up to 4 confirmed buyer questions and uses n=3 repeated samples per selected question and available surface. The Google AI Overview route is reported separately from the Perplexity Sonar RAG/API route.

The intake opens the official GeoCheckTool workflow. You confirm Business Facts and buyer questions before any Quick run. No credit card is required for the one free Quick Diagnosis.

What this diagnosis can answer

Surface availability

Whether the requested search result exposed an AI Overview for that observed question and run slot.

Brand representation

Whether the observed answer named the business and whether the surrounding statement matched confirmed facts.

Source evidence

Which source URLs were present in the observed response and what those pages could actually support.

Coverage gaps

Which confirmed buyer questions were measured now and which remain visible for later scope or retesting.

Interpret the route, not the label alone

“Google AI Overview observed through SerpApi” is a search-result surface observation. It is not a Google API and it is not every signed-in Google experience.

No surface, provider failure, not run, brand absence, factual conflict, mention, and citation are separate states. GeoCheckTool does not collapse them into a universal score.

Publication, crawling, indexing, ranking, AI inclusion, recommendation, conversion, and business improvement are not guaranteed.

Google AI Overview checker FAQ

Does this use an official Google AI Overview API?

No. GeoCheckTool observes the Google AI Overview search-result surface through SerpApi. The report names that route and does not describe it as a Google API.

What if Google shows no AI Overview?

A valid no-surface observation remains no surface. It is not converted into a zero, a provider failure, or proof that no user will ever see an AI Overview.

Does one result prove my Google AI visibility?

No. Quick uses repeated samples and keeps question, route, time, failures, and uncertainty visible. A single observation cannot establish a stable rank or guarantee later inclusion.
